Still life challenge recapWoot! It's the 15th already! Which means we chose a new challenge to study. But first we wanted to welcome and congratulate all our new members, especially those who attempted Speedpaint studies for the first time last month. You guys did absolutely wonderful! Since we have so many new members we decided to "attempt" a livestream critique session for you this Saturday. I say attempt because it will be the first time me and Wolken tried to do one of these together XD. Everyone is welcomed to join, and if you are there will make sure one of your studies gets chosen. Other wise were just going to pick a few to crit. It will be recorded in case you are unable to attend.
EDIT: This is a link to the live crits video, About a hour long!
[link]<3 I hope these help!
May Challenge - Underwater Aquatic This month you voted for a Underwater Aquatic challenge! We've gone and selected few references for this challenge. No sample beginner studies here, because they all range from easy - medium. Only 5 this month in hopes you'll have time to apply what you have learned to a personal work or study a 6th image on your own.
No you do not need to do all of them ( or you could and amaze us! ) We hope they are interesting enough. ^^
Challenge Studies

Here's Da RulesSame rules as always. 2 hour time limit! No tracing! No color picking from the original ref! Figure out your own colors. Make sure you include credit and links where you got your stock photo in the DA description. Not only do most stock provider want to be informed if there pictures are used, but for study reasons referencing to the original source is better for getting crits.
When your done submit it to this folder here: [link] Also say a few words on your study in the description. Helps others when commenting on your work. Its always good to take a moment and reflect on your studies so you can better tackle and improve on those areas in the next study.
Common things to answer are:
►What did you learn from doing this study?
►What did you find difficult?
►What area's do you wish to improve on?
As always, if your participating in these studies, its highly encouraged to comment on other peoples studies when they get submitted to the group. Sharing advice crits and tips will help each other grow!
That's it! Best of luck this month! We are looking forward to seeing each others studies!
